updates!

Well, the Insanity thing didn't last. Mainly because I got terrible shin splints and had to stop the program completely. I decided not to be completely stupid and try it again (while it is called Insanity, I am not insane enough to try it again expecting not to get splints again). I've been off any kind of exercise since then.

But today I have cleared out a space in my room to bring my exercise bike in. I'm really excited. I love my bike and I am excited to finally have a place in my room for it.

In other news, NaNoWriMo is starting up in less than two weeks. It's been great chatting with the writing buddies I made last year (my first year) while we all figure out what we're going to attempt to write this November.

For those of you who don't know, November is National Novel Writing Month. It's a challenge (affectionately known as NaNoWriMo) to write 50,000 words in 30 days. I did my first NaNo last year and won! I finished the challenge! It was crazy and fun and I can't wait for November to start up again so that I can do it all over! (Please see sidebar for my new novel.)

Lovin' my job still. I have a great set of coworkers and I work for a great company. Nothin' more to say about that.

Well, it's time for me to be off again...I need to do some more planning for my novel.

insanity

Ah, Insanity.

60 days of hating life to come out on the other side a much more attractive person.

So far, so good. The first couple of days brought about a bit of fatigue but not a lot of soreness.

Oh the sorness hit me yesterday morning. It hurt. A lot.

But today is MUCH better. It also helps that today is my first day off in 9 days. That's right, I worked 9 days in a row straight. It actually wasn't that bad. I didn't get really tired until the last two days and that was only towards the end of my shift.

I really shouldn't complain. I'm the one who decided to start Insanity in the middle of a 9 day stretch, lol.

Life's been so good lately. Work has been great, and busy. I have been keeping busy with friends, work, and my own personal projects. It's SO good to be busy. I collapse into bed each night exhausted, but it's the good kind of exhausted. It's the kind of exhausted you get from having a full and wonderful life.

And today, on my day off, I'm going to drink more coffee, relax and work on a few projects.
